Due to the recent sharp increase in global market fuel prices, all ferry operators operating between Singapore and Batam will implement a Temporary Fuel Surcharge (TFS) effective 12 March 2026, charged SGD 6.00 per passenger for departures from Singapore and IDR 65,000 (SGD 6.00 ) per passenger for departures from Indonesia.

The additional fuel surcharge is to be paid at the ferry counter upon collecting the boarding pass. Kindly inform your customers regarding the implementation of this additional fuel surcharge. This surcharge is temporary, and ferry operators will continue to monitor fuel prices closely and adjust or remove the surcharge when market conditions stabilize.
